After beaucoup requests of pictures and updates of Aiden I finally decided to start our family blog. It seems to be the easiest way to keep family and friends updated about our "Lindo's" adventures. I can now check "start a blog" off of my To-Do List, of at least four years ago. Now, you may ask why the sudden resolve to tackle such a task? Well, ladies and gentlemen, as of today I'm officially a stay-home mom!
Jason and I were discussing what responsibilities come with this change in career. As he was describing all of my new, stay-at-home mom responsibilities I couldn't help but chuckle nervously. This is what I have been dreaming of since I was young. However, I haven't been able to stay at home with my sweet baby this last year for various reasons. Now, that it's my chance to live my dream (ha, ha) I'm all of a sudden assessing myself and my competency as a stay-at-home mother and house wife. Am I going to be able to handle cooking three healthy, wholesome meals, keeping the house relatively clean and orderly, washing and folding laundry, nurturing Aiden physically, intellectually, and spiritually AND most importantly keeping up with the family blog? Truthfully, it seems like a daunting task and I'm honestly nervous about starting this new job. So...all of you veteran mothers, I would truly appreciate your words of wisdom with regards to this new career I will be starting...tomorrow! Bon voyage to us!
